The union between the League Management Commission (LMC) and the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has already yielded a new product on the launching of their new logo recently.
A member of the LMC Shehu Dikko disclosed that the new logo is not permanent but will serve in distinguishing Nigeria football locally as it progresses.
“Very soon, probably at the end of the season, and in consultation with our sponsors, we could hold a competition to get something else that will be more definite.” Dikko disclosed to Supersport.com.
The launching of a new logo comes after the recent announcement of the title sponsorship deal worth N1, 896,730,000 (around $12 million) by Globacom.
The logo features an identical Eagle as in the LMC logo, however in green as opposed to red as well as the Globacom circle embedded.
